Friday, my son and I joined family friends and drove to FunCity in Burlington, IA. There are many things to do there. I either spent my time driving a go-cart or drinking wine while knitting a sock. My son attempted to take a picture of me knitting a sock while I was in the go-cart, but it did not work.
Saturday morning I joined Sue & Sue for breakfast and then some shopping. I was pleased that I spent the least amount of money.
Saturday and Sunday afternoons Steve, Dave and I went geocaching. I worked on knitting my sock, while Steve drove to each cache. Sunday, we also took the bikes as there were several caches along a trail. While looking for one of the caches I stepped into a large deep hole. I was following Steve and I was looking where I was going; it’s just that the grass was at least four feet high. Not sure how Steve missed it. Dave was behind me and then I was out of sight. I hope to get my own GPS so that I don’t have to rely on others, I just cannot figure out which one to purchase.
My friend Sue watched my son both days as he did not wish to go with caching. She said he was no problem, and she barely knew he was there. I am lucky to have such a good friend.
Need to call Dave as he has my camera with my pictures…
Just keep knitting…
